Yard Smart’s Beginning
In 2011, Tony started Yard Smart as a team of one, with a single truck and plow attachment for winter snow removal work. Years later, the team has grown to include several employees and a fleet of professional equipment, including four trucks, four mowers, three plows, two large sidewalk snow removers, more than six snow blowers, skid loader, ride-on sprayer, and numerous weed trimmers, chain saws, hedge trimmers, and more.

We’re a team of professionals and we take our work seriously. Whether we’re working on snow removal, lawn mowing, or just about anything in between, our team members take pride in our attention to detail, high quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.
We show up when we say we will, and we always prioritize safety. And our commitment to safety means that we’re fully insured. That’s also why we have a commercial pesticide applicator license and why we’re members of Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA).

But just because we take our jobs seriously doesn’t mean we’re no fun. Actually, our customers often tell us how much they appreciate our friendly team members. They also love how helpful the entire team is, and they love the finished results of landscaping projects and lawn care service we complete for them.
In fact, we’ve been recognized for several years as a top landscaping business in the West Central Tribune’s Best of the Best awards, and that goes back to putting our customers first.
Yard Smart offers a variety of services, including lawn mowing, tree trimming, lawn aeration, spring and fall lawn maintenance, light landscaping, snow and ice removal, and more. About half of our customers are commercial accounts, but we also enjoy working with our residential customers.

Tony began Yard Smart in 2011, after working for several years in the landscaping industry and realizing how satisfying it is to see a quality landscaping job completed. He enjoys spending time with his sons Eli and Easton, with the boys even working part-time with the Yard Smart team. When not working, Tony enjoys coaching and watching hockey, golfing, vacationing in Colorado, and spending time with family at the lake
